STORY & PLACE
The Windward story begins in Hawai’i. When I was young my grandparents, Steve and Gloria, who were both from the islands, inspired my love for food. From them I learned to cook. From them I learned my culture and place. Windward is built on this foundation. We created our jerky to share our story and place with you. We value the ability to sit down, wherever we are, and appreciate our company, our environment, and the stories we tell one another. To capture a moment in time, and cherish that memory. To share food, drink, and company. Windward is our story.

As our story expands, we hope you join us and let the Windward family save you from low quality, over-processed jerky. Growing up, I was always told to know where my food comes from. To know, understand, and be thankful of the process that food undergoes. At Windward we hold to this very philosophy. Our ingredients are of the highest quality and driven by sustainability.
